I remember being utterly fascinated by mythical and fantasy creatures. I used to read all the vampire and werewolf novels I could find. Then Twilight came out. It’s not that the books are terrible—no, that’s irrelevant. But having “vampires” and other fantasy creatures become the new “fad” that many people seem to be obsessed with takes out the fun of liking them. ::shrugs:: Maybe it’s just me.
